• Transportation: to and from the mission sites, youth with be carpooling with adult volunteer drivers
• Mission: Each team will be assigned a different mission each day: serving food to the homeless; visiting the elderly in retirement homes, giving out hot chocolate on the street and asking to pray for people.

1. Young Adult Missions: “Special Ops”. Ages 18-40. Cost: $40. 

• Begins Apr 2 at 5:00pm
• Ends Apr 4 at Midnight
• The Specials Ops serve behind the scenes but also get their own time to go out on mission. Includes all meals, no overnight accommodation

2. Families: Parents with kids 12 and under. Cost per family: $40.

• Choose one or both options:
  • Apr 3 from 10am to 5pm 
  • Apr 4 from 10am to 5pm 
• Mission: Plans are in the works for families to be able to go to Toronto to partner with Saint Vincent de Paul and with the Missionaries of Charity. They’ll have the chance to visit families in need, bring them food or gift cards, and pray with them. Another option is to stay in the Oakville/Burlington area to visit the elderly at retirement homes. Lastly, some will get the chance to go downtown Hamilton and serve meals to the homeless.
• Families with teens are asked to register their teens separately with the youth track of missions. If you have any questions, please contact us. 

PALM SUNDAY SEND-OFF

• Don’t miss the commissioning Mass on Palm Sunday, March 29th. 
• The event runs from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Mass begins at 2:30 with the procession of Palms.
• At the end of Mass, each missionary will receive the Missions Cross as a symbol of being sent to bring Christ’s love to the world.
